Custom tours
This is a great option if you have your own group and want to organise a private tour.
You could start with one of the itineraries from the standard tours, but select a date of your choice.
Then, if you have something specific in mind, maybe a different location, an interest in a particular unit or following in the footsteps of a family member, please talk to us, and we will advise you of the options.
You are not charged more for a bespoke tour but costs may vary compared to the scheduled tours due to time of year, hotel/ferry availability, group number and locations visited. You will be given a full and final quote upon request.
Cost
It is not possible to give a fixed price for a custom tour without further details as it can vary significantly on many factors, especially the time of year, how far in the future it is being planned and how many are travelling. We do not charge a premium simply because it is a custom tour. It will be based on length of time away and the direct costs of accommodation, travel and any additional requirements.
As a guide only, the following are based on our standard tour itineraries and assume a group of 14 guests
Best of British - 48 hrs - from £350pp
Best of the US - 48hrs - from £350pp
Just British - 72hrs - from £500
Best of Both - 72hrs - from £500

Considerations.
Hotel
Hotels prices in the Normandy area vary vastly, depending on its 'star rating' and the time of year, with Jun, Jul and Aug typically being the most expensive months. We have used a number of hotels throughout the area, and will generally opt for twin rooms with en-suite on the outskirts of Bayeux, which offers a balance of comfort and value, whilst still within walking distance of local restaurants and other venues. Those wanting a custom tour, can of course, select their prefered hotel.
Numbers
Our scheduled tours have a maximum of 14 guests, which allows individuals to engage whilst ensuring value for money. Larger/smaller groups are possible with a custom tour and we will be happy to offer options, recommendations and quotes based on your needs.
Time of year
This can have a big impact on the cost of your tour as well as enjoyment, due to the weather, which is no different to the South coast of the UK. Whilst many of the locations are outside and accessible all year round, many museums, restaurants, cafes and hotels are closed during the winter months. we will certainly advise, should you wish to visit between Nov and Feb.
