Typically, the price includes travel to/from France, accomodation and museum entry fees. Breakfast is also included as part of the hotel stay.
Lunch and evening meal is not usually included as there are plenty of places to explore in Bayeux, although packed meals may be required, depending on locations visited throughout the day.

The hotel will vary depending on the time of year, notice given and availability. Rooms will usually be twin rooms and always ensuite, and within a walkable distance of the centre of bayeux. The hotel will be confirmed prior to booking and you are free to choose your own if you prefer.
For the Normandy tours, we usually use the Portsmouth to caen overnight ferry which departs 2230hrs and takes around 7hrs to arrive in Caen. This reduced rest time should be noted, but we generally finish day 2 relatively early to compensate for the early start.
Travel time between locations is anywhere between 10 and 60 mins. The itineraries are designed to limit time travelling and maximise time at locations.
We try to use a 17 seater minibus, with a maximum of 14 guests as this group size allows good interaction and good value for money.
Smaller and larger group sizes are not an issue at all and it all depends on what you want to get out of your tour.
All of the locations, less the museums, are outside and so you should consider the weather and dress appropriately. The tour will still go ahead even if the weather is not ideal, but we will do everything we can to ensure your enjoyment.
You will be visiting the best locations across Normandy, which will help us bring history to life. This included bunkers, gun employments, museums, cliff tops, cemeteries and more.

This will depend on the itinerary. Whilst there are dozens across Normandy, we only visit those we believe add the greatest value to your trip. These will be confirmed prior to any booking.
This will depend on the location and the time of day. We try to get the balance right, by having just enough time to get the best experiance but also allowing us to squeeze as much into the trip as possible.
This will depend on the itinerary and distance between locations, but a full day should include at least four locations.
You need to bring enough clothes and personal items for the duration, taking into account the expected weather. This could be anything from layers of warm clothes and waterproof jacket to shorts, t shirt and suncream.
Space can be limited on the transport, so please consider this.
We try to give you a little free time to explore Bayeux under your own steam, to enjoy the shops, restaurants and attractions and make the most out of your visit.
Typically, only breakfast is included if staying in a hotel the night before. We have found that most like to explore their own options for evening meals in the local area, Bayeux certainly have a lot to offer and we are more than happy to provide recommendations. We will also try to plan the tours to offer the most opportunity for lunch choices, but a packed meal might be the best option in some cases and if so, this will be clearly communicated with you.
We are based in the SE and usually meet the group in Portsmouth for ease. Depending on your needs, we can always pick you up from your local area if required.
